Grand Fauna is a global organization founded
to help importers and exporters alike do good
business with one another. Grand Fauna
eliminates the risks most importers and
exporters face when dealing with new customers
and suppliers. We have assembled a team of the
world’s best exporters, as well as the leading
importers in each market around the world.
2. What countries do you ship from? [top]
GrandFauna.com has qualified shippers
located throughout the world. We can supply you
with quality, affordable animals from all
corners of the globe.
3. Does GrandFauna.com require a minimum
order? [top]
YES, Each Country has slightly different
policies regarding minimum orders, but in
general $3,000-$5,000USD is required per country
ordered. Feel free to contact us directly with
any questions you have.
4. Who can buy from GrandFauna.com? [top]
Only legitimate importers based around the world
can purchase from Grandfauna. We are only
looking for long term, honest business
relationships, not one time importers looking
for personal stock.
5. Why is your minimum order so high? [top]
We have sat down and agreed on a required
minimum order of this level for many reasons.
Most importantly to protect or importers from
having their customers purchase directly from
Grandfauna.com. If we had a minimum order
any lower than we currently do, this would make
it possible for your customers to possibly try
to cut you out of the loop. We intend to protect
our dealers and shippers around the world by
only selling to customers who are well
established in their individual markets.
6. Are these prices Landed Prices or FOB price?

In general, the prices listed are FOB country of
origin. You as the customer will be responsible
for any packing, permit, and transportation fees
to import your orders. We can help you better
understand these issues on a per country basis
via private e-mail.
7. Can you ever offer Landed (C&F) prices? [top]
In some markets and from some origin countries
this is possible. However in most cases you are
better off ordering with the FOB price, since if
we quote C&F prices we must ad a little extra to
the normal freight just to cover all costs.
8. Why should I buy from you verses sourcing the
suppliers? [top]
We have spent years helping set up the best, and
most qualified shippers in each country. All of
our shippers pack only the best quality animals.
Plus as a customer you will not have to worry
about risking deposits being sent to foreign
lands. All your payments will be handled
directly through us; therefore your funds will
be 100% safe. Many importers, and exporters
alike, have been badly burned in the past with
either stolen deposits, or un-paid animals. We
take the risk away from both parties by only
using the best importers, and best exporters,
while personally guaranteeing the exchange in a
professional manner.
9. How does your pricing compare to other
avenues of supply? [top]
You will find our prices to be extremely
competitive, we move thousands of shipments each
year around the world and in doing so are able
to combine the buying power of the world’s
markets into increased discounts from the
countries of origin. Our buying power and volume
enables us to offer you animals at prices below
usual costs.
10. Are there any other benefits to purchasing
from Grand Fauna [top]
Of course, just look at the listing of countries
we ship from. And new countries and species are
being added all the time. Many of which never
even make it to the site before being sold.
11. How do we know when new species and
countries are available, do [top]
Yes we prefer to keep the newest and latest
species going to those customers that support us
the most. We spend a great deal of time and
money searching new locale for marketable
species, therefore we first offer these new
countries to those customers that support us the
most. The customers we feel purchase a good
portion of their goods from GrandFauna, are the
customers first to be offered the new species.
This enables these customers to be first of
their local market with these species. Easily
stated....You scratch our backs, we will scratch
yours.
12. Are there any packing/box charges? [top]
In many parts of the world, such things as
plastic containers, cloth snake bags, and
packing crates are extremely expensive. So on
some countries a small packing/box charges might
occur. Whenever and wherever possible we try to
supply our shippers directly with supplies and
methods that will help reduce your overall costs.
13. What about freight rates are your supplies
competitive? [top]
We firmly believe the shipping charges incurred
from the countries we offer will be much less
than if you purchased directly from other
shippers. We have spent many years training our
farms in the differences of Actual verses
dimensional weight. Every shipper we use try’s
their best to ensure heavy items (actual weight)
are packed alongside lighter items (dim weight)
as long as animal safety does not get sacrificed.
We also do our best to keep box dimensions down.
With these practices in place we have a much
cheaper landed price per shipment than most
shippers.
14. Do you guarantee your animals? [top]
YES, we always guarantee live arrival. We have
worked with our shippers for years and know only
best currently available animals will be sent to
you. We realize that if unhealthy animals are
shipped it will hinder your ability to make
money, which in turn will hinder your ability to
order from us. Basically put, we strive to
provide the best quality animals possible to
build a strong relationship and enjoyable with
you.
15. How does your guarantee policy work? [top]
In order for our guarantee policy to be upheld,
we require all shipments be picked up from the
airport within 4 hours of arrival. Any DOA
animals must be digitally photographed while
fresh (no frozen/thawed animal pics accepted)
next to a copy of a document that came with the
received shipment for date reference (AWB,
INVOICE, CLEARED CITES, ETC) to verify photo
dates. Any Claims must be submitted via e-mail
within 24hours of receiving the shipment to be
considered valid.
16. What forms of payment does
Grand Fauna
except? [top]
Preferred method of payment for deposits is via
Bank Wire Transfer. We also except western union
and occasionaly paypal on all final invoice
totals.
17. Do you require a deposit on each shipment?
[top]
Each countries costs and policies are slightly
different, depending on permit ssues, and costs
to collect animals. Therefore we require an
initial deposit of 50% on each order to get the
paperwork, and animal collection started. Full
payment based on final invoice must be received
before shipment will be sent!
